Australian Moth Class Association

When I took over as secretary of IMCA Aust, one of the hidden secrets I found is that the association's financial year constitutionally ends on 31 Oct each year.

Consequently I have accepted that all memberships paid since 31 Oct 08 are valid up to 31 Oct 09.

But that also means that you all have to renew your memberships soon. For most that will be through your state IMCA, see national web site for contacts. Anyone without a state association can contact me direct, about joining IMCA Aust or better still about reforming a state IMCA (because we used to be in every state of the commonwealth.)

Morally anyone who races a moth and considers themselves a mothie should join the class association.

Since the Jan 09 AGM did not set a new fee we will keep last year's numbers, $65 for seniors and $50 for Juniors as per the Jan 08 AGM decision. State associations most likely will add a leve for their costs.

To better maintain the associations records I request all members and state secretaries to provide names, YA numbers, addresses, emails, and phone Nos for all renewals. Then I can maintain a true membership register as required by our IMCA and Vic Corperate affairs regulations.
